The water reservoir runs dry. I can cut the ice machine off and back on and the water reservoir fills back up and the ice maker continues. this happens about twice a day.

The water valve makes sense, just wondering why it only happens once in a while. Especially when it does happen, I can turn the machine off and immediately back on and it starts to fill with water. Is there any temperature control or something else that controls the water valve?
