I have a whirpool gold refrigerator (model: GD5NVAXWA00) and the food in the back of the refrigerator freezes everything. The freezer works well. Lower the temp in the refrigerator does not help. Does the Thermistor need to be replace or is something else wrong? And how do I change the parts?

Are the condenser coils clean? Did it just start doing this?

I have not cleaned the coils in 3 years. Why would the lack of cleaning the coils freeze the all the items in the back? Also are there coils on the back of the refrigerator which I would need to clean? The issue has been there for a while, however my wife ignored it until I recently got something from the back of the refrigerator.
