The Ice Maker, model WR30X0289, connected to a GE Monogram 42" built-in, model ZISW42EMB, is only completed one cycle of making ice and then shutting down. To start another cycle, I disconnect/reconnect the plug-in connector from the ice maker to the freezer compartment. Water does flow and I replaced the WATER VALVE ASM WR57X10051 about one year ago.

Is there some tests to run or does the ice maker need replacement?

thanks a bunch.

Thanks for the reply. The Ice Maker is WR30X0289 which the replacement is WR30X10093. I created another post, http://forum.appliancepartspros...power-adapter-cable.html because I have the WR30X10093 in another refrig but I need the 4-6 pin adapter.
