Old problem for past year: noisy refrigerator especially at night, noise dwindles and then starts up again! suddenly no noise.
New problem with same 4 year old GE refrigerator, for the past 3 days refrigerator side not cooling, usually on setting 6, so i moved it to setting 9 and same deal. Freezer side is fine until now. Cleaned out ice bucket in freezer side, was filled to the top. Only about 2-3 degrees cooler now in refrigerator, especially at bottom of refrigerator, top of refrigerator a little cooler than room temperature.
What should i start checking? faulty defrost system?
