upright freezer digital door display is bad

Model Number: 28328432803 Brand: Kenmore Age: 1 - 5 years

Have a kenmore upright freezer 25328432803. Lost power last night. When power came back on the digital door display was bad (parts of numbers nor lit up), the up arrow does not work and freezer is not running. Was wondering ifr the problem would be in the door electrical control panel itself. i have read that this can be poped out and replaced.
