The temp light came on with a saying the freezer is to warm. Now the freezer will not work & refrig is warm.

You have to do more troubleshooting.

Is the compressor running? You can usually hear it but should also be able to feel it vibrating and it should be warm.
Is the condenser/compressor fan running?
Is the evaporator/freezer fan running?
Are you getting any cooling in the freezer or none at all?

Check in the back, is the compressor and condensing fan motor running, hot or cold?
