I have a Kitchen Aid refrigerator model number KBFC42FTS02 that has an ice maker in the bottom freezer drawer. It has stopped making ice, not for the first time.

The last time I had a repair person who ended up replacing the light emitter and sensor, but it had started working after he'd taking everything apart and put it back together ... before replacing the next time. He replaced it anyway since it was under extended warranty.

My suspicion this time is that the sensor was knocked out of alignment one again while my in-laws were visiting.

Is there a way to adjust the sensor to get it back into alignment without replacing the components?

All insights are appreciated,

Todd
