i replaced water inlet valve part number wr57x10033 and now water goes into ice maker and then overflows into freezer section and onto floor could part be deceptive or is it something else or is part installed incorrectly

icemaker overflowing water after replacing inlet valve what could be problem

Unplug water solenoid, if water flow stops, you have a bad icemaker.
