Our GE refer is like me, trouble getting started in the morning. Makes click, click, click, noises for up to 3-4 minutes. The control panel temperature display led's are out while it clicks. Then it stops and starts running ok and will start and stop normally for most of the day. Can hear something running behind the clicks, so maybe not the starter?

Thinking of power disconnect/reconnect when it happens to see if that clears it.

Hi.

Next time when the clicking starts pull the fridge out and check if that noise is coming from the control board(behind the metal plate on the right).
If that what it is - replace the control board
