I have a wide by side maytag fridge. The face of the divider wall gets hot. I can fix the problem by hand starting the fan in the back. Do I need a new condensor fan or is it some type of a relay problem?
also, I'm not sure how to remove the freezer stop basket on the top left side.

Thanks, Dave

Does sound like you need a new condenser fan. The area you describe is going to get hot if that fan is not running. Below is the part and link to your model.
