Kenmore Elite Refrigerator with bottom freezer and double top doors, Model 795.77243601, 4 years old (about). Yesterday I noticed the milk was warm, fridge setting on LED display is 37 but temp in fridge is 46, temp in freezer is zero. Tried unplugging it for 5 minutes, then left it over night, no change. Put an AC thermometer into the duct at the top back of the fridge, zero degrees but no air flow out (no fan blowing.) Removed the shelves and rear duct, no ice anywhere. Looking down into the hole at the back of the fridge where the air comes out of the freezer, I can see the fan, but it isn't blowing. Past the fan blades I can see the coil and there is no evidence of ice anywhere. Online opinions I have read state either a damper/damper solenoid problem, blower problem, or coil iced up. I can see the coil so I don't think that is it. Could be the damper but since I can see the fan not working that would seem to be the place to start. Am I on the right track? If so, it would seem to indicate testing the fan or whatever controls the fan. Suggestions on how to go about that? Where are the components I need to test? Thanks
