My refrigerator has been running alot the last few days.Anywhere from 1-5 hours at a time.All settings are on recommended settings.Freezer is between 0-5 degrees and fresh foods is between 35 and 40.Had a service man come and check it out and was dirty.He cleaned it out, so thought all would be good.Ran normal for the rest of the day.My wife said it ran for almost 5 hours this morning and called back the service man.He is blaming it on the hot temps outside,but my home has central A/C.I called the Frigidaire tech number and he said it was common for this model to run for 8 hours at times.I find that hard to believe also.Back to my service man and asked him if the defrost timer or the temp. control could be bad and he insisted that was not the problem and said everything was fine and left.When it does run for awhile and won't shut off I have been tapping the housing that contains those two parts and 8/10 time it will shut it down.Could it be 1 or both of those parts?If so i will order myself and install and skip the lousy service man.Thanks in advance for any help.
