The crushed ice frezes in the shut at the top. where it comes down into your glass. And it frezes up under the bottom also. I can take it out get the ice all our and it will freezs up again with in a day or two. This has been going on now for 1 year or longer. What do I need to do to fix this problem?

Hi.

Most likely the ice door doesn't close all the way, leaving small opening. That cause the ice to melt.
Check if that what it is the part is Part number: 8201649

A common problem with these is a plastic stub breaks off and the spring pops out. If so, you can drill a hole next to the spring and put a sheet metal screw in to hold it in place.
