Recently, Freezer Coils froze up solid, so freezer & fridge sides both stopped cooling. Based on what I read on your forum & Parts websites, I purchased a Defrost Thermostat, and Temp Sensor from your site, R&R'd both, appears to be functioning well now, (Thanks!).
Since then, Ice Maker produces about 1 cycle of ice per day, (about 7-10 cubes). I noticed the Arm/Paddle stays "In" after an ice harvest cycle. I think it is supposed to stay "Out", so it may be signalling a full bin of ice to the icemaker? It looks like a coil spring on the paddle shaft, which may be intended to return the paddle to the outward position, but the paddle will stay in or out, wherever I push it, until it dumps the ice, then the I/M seems to pull the paddle in and leave it there. Could that spring be bad? Any advice? I am testing while awaiting a response, by manually pulling the paddle forward, and whenever I hear the ice dump, I will pull it back out again.
Thanks in advance for any advice you can provide, -Dan.
