I opened my GE Side by side this morning and it was hot inside, everything spoiled and the butter was melting. The temp read 83. The freezer was fine, but it has had problems in the past where it occasionally would get stuck in the defrost cycle and get above freezing for a short time. Any ideas?

Does the defrost timer have anything to do with the fresh food section?
