refrig not cold & water in it
Model Number: ET1FHTXM003 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 5 - 10 years
Freezer is working fine, but refrigerator not. not cold and water in. Ice cube maker not connected. second hand refrig. just for keeping drinks and overflow. No matter what there is always water in frig.

Hi.
Most likely there is the defrost system problem. Open the evaporator by removing the rear cover in the freezer and check if the coils are blocked with snow. If there are check defrost thermostat and defrost heater for continuity. Remember that thermostat must be ice cold when tested. If they both read closed - then replace the defrost control board, located in the control panel.
