Refrigerator makes ICE. It dispenses water.
When selected for ICE (crused/cube), mechanism works, hear sound of augur. But Ice does not come out of dispenser. It gets collected behind the door in ICE chute. ICE chute has some frost built up. Looks like Flapper is not closed, it remains open slightly, enough to built frosting in ice chute/dispenser.

I opened the front control plate till I see the solenoid and flapper-lever and spring. Everything looks good, not sure about the operation of Solenoid. It appears that when ICE is demanded, Armature-coil gets energized and pulls the solenoid in, that opens up the flapper. But once switch is OFF, flapper does not return fully.

Is that a Spring, flapper or solenoid problem? Or all of them?
Not sure how Solenoid works here. Does is help to push flapper go back to close position?

Open the dispenser panel. Keep the freezer door closed or tape in the door switch. Check for 120 VAC to the solenoid while the ice dispenser calls for cubed and crushed ice. Post the results.
