The icemaker will not make ice. The green LED is blinking. I replaced the water valve thinking it was clogged or defective but that did not make any difference. I have tried pooring water into the collecting cup to see if the line was clogged but that made no difference. I am able to get water to the door to drink.

The blinking green LED points to a problem with the ice maker itself. This ice maker is not repairable and has to be replaced. GE had replaced these electronic ice makers with new electromechanical ice makers. It comes with the installation instructions.
