I have the Kenmore Pro side by side fridge/freezer. They are installed in different locations so the water filter (in fridge) is not hooked to freezer's ice maker water line. My problem is that water condenses in the slot in the fridge, where the filter inserts, then it drips onto the top shelf. It makes no difference if the filter is in place or removed from the slot. I have to keep paper towels wadded up in the hole and squeeze them out 1-2x a day.

Is this an air circulation problem? Sears came out long ago, put caulk in all cracks and spaces around the slot, but really had no clue as to the cause.

Ideas??
