My refrigerator doesn't cool. I had a repair person charge the coolant because it was empty. When power was restored the compressor wouldn't start. The compressor makes a single clicking noise but doesn't start up. Ddes this mean the compressor is bad or is their a component that must be replaced such as a starter or relay for the compressor or something else?"

Hi. The compressor's 3 prongs need to be checked for continuity. If that checks OK, then the relay/overload should be replaced. The relay Part number: 819100

The repair person may have overcharged it and the overcharge may have damaged the compressor.
