I had a compressor burnout and the control panel to malfunction. I have replaced both. After replacement, I started the unit and all ran fine. Freezers cooled to +6. When I tried to reset the temp. to +10, it went off and will not come back on. The display reads "OFF". I tried every way I know to turn it on, but it does not respond.

Hi.

Try to unplug the freezer for few minutes and plug it back in.
Check the connector at the control board, thermistor, power cord.
If everything checks out good you may have the bad control board again.

Here are the breakdown diagrams and Replacement parts for Frigidaire LFFH21F7HWA FREEZER | AppliancePartsPros.com

Thank you. Post the results.

Simon.

Thanks for your response. While waiting on your reply, I found the instructions on how to turn the unit ON. I was pressing the button to lower the temperature, but was not doing it correctly. The correct procedure for turning OFF and ON is as follows:
OFF - Press the UP arrow until the temperature reads "10". Press the UP arrow two more times within 2 sec. The display reads "OFF".
ON- Press the DOWN arrow two times within 2 seconds. Set to desired temp.
