My freezer door contains the ice container. Ice dispenser door does not always shut completely and ice melts/turns to a block! Help me with what you think is happening

Hi.
Here are the breakdown diagram and Dispenser front replacement parts for Whirlpool KSRL25FXMS00 REFRIGERATOR | AppliancePartsPros.com

As you can see there are several parts involved in the ice door operation.
First check for any damage and abstraction to the ice door.
If non visible, than most likely it's a motor.
