Replaced the ice maker last summer in second home and all worked fine. Left home for the winter with water turned off. Returned this week to find ice maker works, but bar gets stuck in off position after dumping into the bucket. Bar isn't getting stuck on anything - there isn't any ice there to get hung up on. Only way to get ice going again is to push bar back down. Any ideas? Saw old post that said to replace shut off arm w/flapper, but wasn't that part of new ice maker just put in less than a year ago?

Hi.
Remove the icemaker, take the head cover off and check for any obstructions to the arm's gear. If there nothing wrong - then I'm afraid you need a new icemaker.
Thank you. Post the results.
Simon.
