My Ice machine quit making ice one day. The water dispenser still works but it is not making any ice. I assume the filter is good because water is still working and the light inside shows the filter is still good. Is it the line or valve or solenoid? Need help.

Hi.

.
Remove the front cover from the icemaker and using the multimeter check for 120VAC at the test points L-N.
If the voltage there - get to the water inlet valve at the back of the fridge. Switch around the electrical plugs at the solenoids and push the water level at the dispenser.
If the water start filling in - replace the icemaker. If not - replace the water valve.
Make sure that the inlet tube to the icemaker isn't frozen. If it is - defrost it and replace the water valve.

The water valve Part number: W10408179
Part number: W10408179

The icemaker Part number: 4317943

Thank you. Post the results.

Simon.
