Samsung ice cracks when popped out of tray
Model Number: RS275ACRS Brand: Samsung Age: 1 - 5 years
We have a strange problem with our ~2 year old Samsung refrigerator. The ice on cube mode comes out crushed.
It's NOT a problem with the cube/crush toggle. I watched it when it was dispensing ice into the tray and when it twists the ice tray the cubes crack and come out in fragments rather than as a whole cube. I tried setting the temperature lower and higher, with no effect. What could the problem be? It's super frustrating as I'm not much of a crushed ice person, and have just been living with it for as long as I can remember (can't recall if it did it from day 1 or not).
