Model Number: GSL22JFTABS Brand: GE Age: 1 - 5 years
My icemaker stopped making ice. My filter is relatively new, and get plenty of water pressure through the door dispenser. What are the steps that I should go through (I should mention the pwer is on, and green light is not flashing or anything).

Hi.
First thing to check is the freezer temperature. If the ice cream is hard - you are OK. Next - is there ice in the icemaker? If it is - replace the icemaker. If not - check if the fill tube isn't frozen. If it is frozen - replace the water inlet valve. Switch around the electrical plugs at the water valve and press the water lever at the dispenser. If the icemaker start filling up - replace the icemaker. Here are the breakdown diagrams and Replacement parts for General Electric GSL22JFTABS Refrigerator | AppliancePartsPros.com The icemaker Part number: WR30X10093 The water valve Part number: WR57X10032 Thank you. Post the results. Simon.
