My ice maker was working fine then last week we opened the freezer door and water came pouring out. Checked supply line to valve and it is not kinked. I feel like it must be the ice maker because whenI turn it off the water will stop pouring into the ice bowl. The water in the bowl will freeze, and then I turn it back on and it releases the ice and again it will not stop flowing into the bowl. Is it still possible the valve is the culprit? I would hate to buy the ice maker and it not be the problem and not be able to return it. I am a broadcast engineer and I have a good understanding of the electronics, but have not ever worked on an ice maker problem. :) Any help would be appreciated.
