Default Freezer troubles
Model Number: 106.57267792   Brand: Kenmore   Age: More than 10 years

In May,repaiman replaced the relay.Was fine for a while then started thawing again. Was advised it could be the defrost timer. Ordered and installed timer-was fine, then five days ago everything was completely thawed overnight. Turned setting up to 3-has been fine again-but I know it's going to happen again.Any ideas?? Thanks

Need more info. What was not running when it failed. You seem to imply just turning up the cold control fixed it!

The whole refrigerator/freezer stopped running.Installed defrost timer,was ok for a while-then everything thawed again.Turned sttine up, worked again. It's been doing this since May.

Next time it fails, tap on the control panel, if it then turns on, you probably have an intermittent cold control or connector.
