Model Number: KSFS25FJBL00 Brand: Kitchen Aid Age: 5 - 10 years
My in the door Ice was not working so I took off the front panel and the switch that controls the ICE was out of place and the tab that held it in place was broken. So with help from my son I pressed the switch manually and it sounded like it was working but the motor that drives the auger in the ice bend was frozen or barely moving so I ordered a new switch, switch holder and motor. Well after installing all these new parts the switch works now but the new motor does not move or moves extremely slow. Is there any other part that I have not replaced that could effect the motor function? The only thing I see left is the thing that controls cubed or crushed but I cannot believe that would have anything to do with the motor.
I had issue in the passed where the wires at the bottom of the freezer door broke due to the opening and closing of the door and the door was replaced under warranty. Ads By Google Related Models |
