Our Maytag frig with a bottom freezer is having icemaker problems. It is leaking behind the icemaker I believe, down into the bottom tray. If I raise the bar, which stops it from making ice, no more leaking. What do you think? Thanks!

Hi.

You need to determine if this the leaking icemaker or the fill tube problem.
Take the cover off the icemaker head. Install the jumper wire between test points T and H. Remove the jumper after the arm start rotating. Monitor water filling proses.

Post the complete model and serial number for the correct part numbers.

Thank you.

Simon.
