Mornin

Freezer temp is too cold thermo is pegged @ - 20 F -- unable to adjust temp

Fridge is ok --

I could not find any info on the given model number.
The following is for a KRS25ILBL13 (an i not a 1).

Following is a service manual. It does not list your unit so I am not sure how close of a match it is.

I would run the diagnostics in the tech sheet.
If OK then check the freezer thermistor for resistance.
If OK then odds are the control board is the problem.
