GE Refrigerator howls
Model Number: PSC23SGRC SS Brand: GE Age: 1 - 5 years
Refrigerator howls. Sounds like it comes from the freezer area. I can hear it with the door open or shut.

Mine too
 I've had my side by side GE Eterna for 5 years. My service policy lapsed. Mine howls too. Same thing as yours. I'm replacing the condensor fan as another forum suggested that its bearings may be going out. Not true. Some say to replace the mother board. $165.00. Ouch! Have you had any luck?

Try cleaning the dust out of the fan at the back plus make sure nothing is in front of the vents in the Deli Fresh drawer.
This worked for me. The howling stopped.
