I have a five year old fridge-freezer. There is a single shelf hanging from the freezer door, see this image from AppliancePartsPros

The door has two plastic rectangles coming straight out of the door, on which the shelf sits. The rectangles, in turn, each have one tiny oval lip coming out of them towards each other. These prevent the shelf from sliding off of the rectangles on which the shelf sits.

One of the tiny oval lips broke off, and so the shelf will not sit. I do not want to have to replace the entire door (hundreds of dollars) just to fix this lip. Any suggestions? Any way I can glue it back on, or perhaps an alternative to hold it in place?

Well, I did find an answer, for anyone interested. I tried glue, crazy glue, you name it. Then, I take 1.5" screws, screwed them into the foam to provide strength, and then glued the white plastic lip onto the screws for smoothness and to look nice.
