Getting a green blinking LED where on off switch is normally constant green. Replaced water filter, checked for kinks in water line, took ice maker thinking it might "reset itself" somehow. Installed it back in. Not 5 minutes later, green blinking light is back. Any ideas?

The blinking green status LED indicates a problem with the ice maker itself. Such electronic ice makers are not repairable. Actually GE had replaced them with the electromechanical ice makers. The correction is to replace the ice maker.
