Default Kenmore coldspot fridge freezing in lower section
Model Number: 52693100   Brand: Kenmore   Age: 5 - 10 years

I have a kenmore coldspot side by side refridgerator model # 52693100.
We had the circuit board replaced on our fridge last week by a Sears repairman. Now our freezer freezes everything rock hard and anything in the lower bins in the fridge freeze solid including the water line to the water dispenser. I have set the temp controls to the lowest setting but to no avail. If I can fix this myself, I would like to. Any ideas Thanks

Default Part nbr and original issue
Initially, we had a large sheet of ice developing on the bottom of the freezer-such that we couldnt get the bottom wire rack drawer to pull out. Then the freezer and the fridge got warm and would not chill. We were told the control board went out and was not sending a signal to the compressor? and fan. the part number listed for the processor is: 46 106 8201527R 1

This is not a valid part number. The part number should be in the repair invoice.

BTW, Sears must guarantee their repairs. Did you call them?
