There is a "clicking" noise that is lasting longer and at more frequent intervals. The refrigerator & freezer seem to be maintaining temperature, so I assume the compressor is running. Would you be able to identify the possible part(s) that may be causing this?

Thank you.

Hi.

Next time when it'll start clicking, pull the refrigerator out and check if the sound comes from the control board behind the cover or the compressor at the bottom.

Her are the breakdown diagrams and Replacement parts for General Electric PDS22SFSBRSS Refrigerator | AppliancePartsPros.com

Thank you. Post the results.

Simon.

Hi Simon,

The clicking noise is coming from the control board. Can you identify the reason for the clicking noise? Should I replace the control board?

Thank you.

Hi.

One of the relays in the control board is going bad. The solution is the new control board.

The control board Part number: WR55X10942
Part number: WR55X10942

Thank you.

Simon.
