ice maker producing a sheet of ice
Model Number: ed25do Brand: Whirlpool Age: More than 10 years
My ice maker seems to have produced a solid sheet of ice. The fingers are stuck at an angle. I'm not sure if it got stuck mid-way though dumping the ice and then refilled or is just adding too much water. What would cause this issue?

Hi.
Clear the icemaker. First adjust the water level and if that wouldn't help then most likely you'll need a new icemaker. Take the cover off and using small flat screw driver turn the screw CW one turn. Then install the jumper wire for 3 seconds between test points T and H. Watch the icemaker going through the cycle.
