Refrigerator & Freezer Repair

Ok....the fresh food and water filter is freezing in my fridge. I thought changing the temp control for the fridge side would fix. I changed it.....worked great for about a week or so. The water filter thawed out and I thought it was fixed. It is not. It is back to freezing everything. Could it possibly be the defrost board causing the problem????

To be honest, I would contact the manufacturer and have a technician diagnose the unit. It could be a defrost issue, a fan issue, or even a blocked vent or airway. No true way to tell without going through a good bit of diagnosis. For safety and accuracy I would contact Frigidaire 1-888-203-1389 Monday through Saturday 8a-8p EST.

Measure the freezer temperature and post.
