Very bad tasting and smelling water from refrig
Model Number: GS6NBEXRQ01 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 1 - 5 years
The water coming from the water chiller and the ice cubes smell and taste horrible. I changed the water filter on the refrig even though it was changed recently but that did not fix the problem.
I called Whirlpool and because none of the other water anywhere in the house tastes bad they said to change the water reservoir (you part number AP3853368) which is actualy just a long coil of plastic tubing. btw the refrig is connect to water with copper pipe. My question is I don't know where this part sits and how to get to it. Can anyone help? I hate to pay 100's of dollars to replace a <50 dollar part. Ads By Google Related Models
