Water Dispenser Sticking On
Model Number: pss25ngna ww Brand: GE Age: 5 - 10 years
The freezer door water dispenser is sticking on intermittently. However the ice dispenser is functioning just fine. A common switch in the door control panel appears to activate both functions depending on which is selected. Can anyone give me a pointer on what may be failing? I'm guessing that either the Solenoid (part # wr62x10055), located in the door, or the Water Valve (wr57x10032), located at the base on the rear of the refrigerator may be the problem. Any help would be appreciated.

Next time remove the wires from the water dispenser solenoid on the water inlet valve (the blue one).
If water would not stop, replace the water inlet valve.
