I have a 2004 Whirlpool Conquest Gold side-by-side. Noticed a unusual humming/vibration noise yesterday morning, then woke up to a pool of water this morning. Freezer not working at all, fridge appears to be cooling normally.

Removed interior panel, no frost on coils at all. Fan and lights working normally. Removed lower exterior back panel, noise gets louder, seems to be coming from compressor area. Fan by compressor seems to be running normally. Heavy dust in entire area, so cleaned as best as I could.

Any suggestions on what direction to go with troubleshooting the freezer? Should I call in the experts or is there a part I could replace? thanks.
