Hello, Immediately after I get water from the dispenser on my fridge the water will still squirts out for about 5 seconds from full stream down to dripping. After the 5 seconds it does stop dripping. It seems that it has been getting worse over the years. Any ideas on if this is normal or which part I would need to fix it.

Thanks in advance for your help. Timberman, This issue is usually due to low water pressure or air in the water dispenser system. Have you had any plumbing work done recently ? You want to check or replace any in line filter, check and tightem the tube connectors and flush the water supply line at the fill valve connector. You'll need to flush the fridge system as well, Dispense 2 to 3 quarts of water through the water dispenser assembly. If the problem persists, you'll need to replace the fill valve located on the back of the fridge, Part number: AP2115312
