icemaker Kenmore

Model Number: 106-70102000 Brand: Kenmore Age: 5 - 10 years

Icemaker works however it 1. makes have a half of tray of ice and 2. when it drops some small pieces get hung up in the rack thereby not allowing full travel. I have trouble shot and I think the water inlet value is the problem, however I am still worry about the hang up when the ice drop in the the bin. Help!! Am I on the right track?Thanks

Hi Bill,

How old is the water filter, if there is one?

How good is the pressure from the water dispenser?

If there is nothing wrong then the water valve is the culprit.
