How to remove refrigerator thermostat panel
Model Number: gd5shaxlt02 Brand: Whirlpool Age: 5 - 10 years
I need to replace the thermostat in a Whirlpool side-by-side refrigerator. How does the plastic housing containing the thermostat come off ? I have removed the 2 hex head screws that appear to be securing the housing to the cabinet however the housing does not seem to want to separate from the cabinet. What else do I need to do to remove this housing ?
