I have a Kenmore 106.70182000, built in 06/00; it came with the house and if we had our way the family would have taken it with them we have had nothing but problems. First the front wheel is broke so when we pulled the fridge out to work on the freezer (the real problem)...we ruined our vinyl floor.

I have ordered the parts to replace the wheel, but I need help replacing the rivet. I am not sure how to do this. The customer service rep said there was a rivet...I'm not sure what to do.

The freezer leaks into the fridge. I have cleaned the ice damn out of the freezer a dozen times, but that only lasts for a few weeks to a month or two. Then I have to do it again. Each time I pull it out to work on the freezer, I damage the floor more. I use hot water to melt the ice and then a turkey baster to shoot water down the drain hose until it's clean. Do you think it could be something with the defroster not staying cool long enough?

I need a fix for the freezer and help with the wheel.

Please...any help would be GREAT!!
