I have been working on this whirlpool gold frig for about 2 months, water dispenser is intermittently not working , I assume ice maker also loses supply, however supply is not lost for a long enough period of time to effect ice maker, so not sure, it can come and go in minutes or seconds , valve is getting voltage , but was replaced any way to rule out it was not opening. micro switch is also functioning . You can hear it trying to get water out, but nothing comes, moved temp up to 40 in frig and 4 in freezer to rule out freezing, its as if there is something blocking flow intermittently and randomly in line, but will not stay that way long enough to isolate issue?:confused:.

My past experience with freezing water lines shows that when that is the issue it does not resolve itself (come and go so quickly, usually requiring a thaw out period?).
