Hi,

I have a Whirpool Gold refrigerator that stopped freezing the other day. The fans are all working the coils are clean the compressor is cold. I had an appliance person come out and he didnt know much about it. Seems on my model the start and run capacitors and relays are built into the computer boars and not the side of the compressor. So the average quick fix is not pertainable in my model. I am not afraid of electonics, I can replace the capacitors that are clearly soldered into the cpu board as the guy said. Question being: Is this the cause of my fridge failure? Is there a way that i can test all of these parts to know which one has failed? I do not have the money to replace the $1300.00 fridge and i need to fix this one. Please someone help me....
