Usually the grid assembly is powered by a 2 prong plug in the back. You need to make sure that is plugged in securely. If it is, the each of the grid wires need to feel pretty tight. I never recommend that the homeowner take their machine apart, if have checked these 2 items and you still have no warm cutting grid, then you should probably call for service.
