Hello,
First let's check the optics. I'll provide a link for you to refer to so your not working blind. Be sure to discontinue power to the unit before contacting any wiring as this can easily cause an electrical shock! Next we need to make sure we have an operational water inlet valve. The easiest way to do this is to remove the rear panel to access the water valve and remove the wires to it. Reverse the wires on the valve and dispense water at the door. If this causes water to come into the ice maker, this proves the valve good. (Be sure to put the wires back into their proper positions so when the ice maker cycles it won't pour water from the dispenser into the floor). Now we have eliminated the optics and the water valve as being the problem. If these checks are all good, The icemaker will require replacement. I hope this was useful and helps to solve your problem!
