Hi. Just lately, when dispensing water via the icemaker/water dispenser in the door, a puddle of water immediately forms on the floor as if there is a parallel flow of water but to the floor. Water is dispensed through the door dispenser.

Where do I start first in finding and then fixing this leak/issue?

Without a model I can't be sure how the water lines are routed within the unit, but usually there is a water tank behind your crisper drawers. There will be a plastic line coming off the water valve in the back of the unit going to it and another one from it. The one coming from it will come up through the freezer door hinge to feed the dispenser. You'll need to locate these lines, have someone activate the water, and see if you can spot where the water is coming from.
